St James finaly got back to winning ways against a spirited Wayside Team who nearly snatched a late draw. Sean Monahan put St James in front when he swept home in the 2nd minute, and St James deservedly extended their lead before half time when Ross Chandler finished well. The second half saw St James continue their dominance, and they had the chance to finish the tie when they were awarded a penalty midway though the half, but Chandler's effort was well saved but the Wayside Keeper. Wayside got back into the game with 5 minutes remaining with a well taken goal, and pushed hard for a late equaliser, forcing James' keeper Sam Byrne into a some fine saves. Time ran for Waysides revival, but credit to them for a spirited late effort.

Hartstown Utd stay top with a good display at Hartstown Community Centre..
Both teams looked well matched with early chances at both ends, but it was Hartstown who capitalised on their chances going into the break 2-0 up...
The second half was a different story altogether with Emmanuel Nkencho stealing the show with some superb finishing taking his goal tally for the game to 5 with Cal Murphy making it 6.
Credit must go to Ratoath Harps who battled hard right to the end forcing Adam Hawkins to put in a Man of the Match performance at the back for Hartstown.
